Great free app, optimize it your own way. Supports all the chat services. Sometimes there are connecting problems with Adium, but that doesn't matter.

Best messenger overall. Very easy to use and messenger all in one. I use MSN, Google Talk and Jabber(kwekker). Nice for school use. MSN on school change port to 1080 en check http proxy on. Is very nice great program but I miss skype and webcam function. : (

Great messenger software overall. Easy to use and slick looking interface. Great support for MSN, Yahoo, AIM, Google, Jabber and more. Only issue I have found is that it's hard to configure behind corporate firewall with proxy that requires .pac file.

Decent IM "Mega-client" for OS X. Handles GoogleTalk, AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, Bonjour, MySpace IM, Facebook IM, etc... Only bad thing is it's lack of audio/visual chat. That would make it a proper IM client if they added those features.

adium is the best, although could do with webcam facility!

Besides its lack of group chat on ICQ and Audio/video chat its an A+ messaging app. Expandable, skinable, and awsome custom dock icons. I have the adium duck dressed up as Link. ^.^
