Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game, that was developed by Crytek, and published by Electronic Arts.
Crysis is based in a fictional future where an alien race has invaded Earth. The single player campaign has the player assume the role of United States Delta Force operator Jake Dunn. Dunn is armed with various futuristic weapons and equipment, most notably a "Nano Muscle Suit", which, according to Crytek senior game designer Bernd Diemer, the suit was inspired by the United States' Future Warrior 2020 program. In Crysis, the player fights both North Korean and extraterrestrial enemies, in four different locations: a tropical island jungle; an American aircraft carrier; inside an "Ice Sphere", which will consist of the same jungle, but frozen; and the alien ship itself, some parts of which will be zero-gravity. Crysis will utilize Microsoft's new API, Direct3D 10 (DirectX 10) for graphics rendering, and will include the same editor that was used by Crytek to create the game.

Crysis Warhead was much better than the original, if a little on the short side. But worth it for the low price tag!
The game engine is beautiful - if you can run it. If your machine can run this game on at least medium, then the graphics can forgive the okay storyline and bad multiplayer gameplay. Still... the trees are droolworthy.
Storyline is average-ok but the graphics are awesome if you machine can keep up!

Warhead the latest edition to the series is very cool and simply seems to perform much better than Crysis w/ all patches. Warhead, while a much bigger footprint on the HD by 2.5 Gigs+ is much much shorter and wish there was more to it.
As for Crysis, I love it, but seems simply ridden with bugs. When it plays well, it's great, but sometimes, it is simply a pain to sit through.
Great details & textures in graphic design,
Character & object movement is better than ever but the AI is still routine & you can easily beat them after you found their offend strategy,
Floating story but as same as other games you have to save the rest of the world lonely!!! (you are always perform as a one man army in FPS games)

It's a very good game & amusing.
The graphics are mindblowing. The gameplay is pretty open ended, in the first half at least. The story is ok but nothing revolutionary. The aliens are tough at first but once you understand their tactics you'll blow through them
Overall its a game worth playing.
This game is pretty good. The graphics for the game are intense, but that is a good and bad thing. For those who don't have the worlds greatest computers it is a HUGE Hog. For those who have great machines ... it is absolutely beautiful.
However, The AI is ok and the gameplay is like most FPS games that are out there. I was hoping for a more skilled opponent, but even on Extreme it was lacking.
I was also really disappointed that for a Sci-Fi Shooter you really don't get into the Sci-Fi aspect until about 2/3rds into the game. I got kinda sick of hunting humans and finally got excited to knock around some alien trash.
