Mozilla Firefox - Portable Edition (formerly known as Portable Firefox) is a repackaged version of Mozilla Firefox created by John T. Haller. The program is part of the PortableApps Suite available at their website. The application allows Firefox to be run from a USB flash drive, CD-ROM or other portable device on any Windows computer, Mac OS X computer or Linux/UNIX computer running Wine. It does not conflict with an installation of Firefox on the host computer.

I'm using the Portable version of Firefox to try the new Firefox 3.1 beta 1 without changing my existing setup. So far, it works and is pretty fast.

A great tool if the computer you're using doesn't have admin rights and you only have Internet Explorer(and a usb port ofcourse).

This is PERFECT if you're in a computer lab where the only browser is Internet Explorer. Take your browser, extensions, and bookmarks with you on a USB stick.
