Recently set iGoogle as my home page, and I like it so far. Lots of various widgets not just for google, but for (to a certain degree) yahoo! mail and so on. And it's nice to look at as well.
Also no advertisements!

Now load it in my bookmarks sidebar, good.
My home page on all my browsers, work or home.
I have everything important to me on one desktop, including mail, rss, news flashes, work related feeds, entertainment related feeds and much more.
A maneira mais pratica de agregar tudo que preciso para começar meu dia tecnologico. Gmail, GReader, noticias da hora, link com meus documentos no Google Docs e tudo que leio durante todo o dia.
Useful for checking up on mail and the Blogs i read via rss, Dont have too many for an rss reader to be useful to me.
It is a useful tool to have stuff together on one page, but, I almost never use it.
My default home page for at least 3 years or more now, or close to that time frame. Google has simply owned my browser desktop for a scary long time, but no one else seems to even come close here.

iGoogle is great, emails and top news stories in one page. Customisation is great and easy to use.
I have every service I use in it. With this I won't be needing to open another tab. I have twitter, last.fm, Gmail, Reader, Calender, Weather, to-do lists, Documents, Translator and Gtalk all in one place.
