Kongregate is a social web games website, described by its founder as "the YouTube of videogames". The site allows prospective visitors to play games created and submitted by members, in much the same way that YouTube showcases video content created and submitted by its members. The site relies on Adobe's Flash web plugin and the Ruby on Rails web application framework to power the games that it provides.

Best flash game portal around, and that's not even counting the badges system. Handles random disconnects better than most similar systems.
Easily one of the best web game sites. Great leveling system to draw you back, and Kongai is great too.
A fun way to play online games, discover new ones, compare scores with other players and gain rankings once you score higher. Great timewaster!
I love kongai, what's more to say? Playing games to earn cards to Kongai, that's just briliant!
Great site for those bored moments were a good game will cure you.
Good site containing lots of flash games. Varying from RPG to action, a lot of defense games, et cetera.
Only downside: the system which tracks your progress in all the games (using the before mentioned badges) can be fooled with by cheating in the individual games with hex editors, et cetera...
A great website with many different genres and games.
It hosts tons of free flash based games, some of which are incredibly fun and addictive. Plus there are weekly challenges to get cards for another game hosted on there using the cards, which is not my favorite game, but it encourages people to try new games. Furthermore you can get badges for meeting different achievements in various games. A really fun site.
