I love Twitter for it's simplicity and for it's flexibility. It's easy to get started, it's easy to post and it is what you make of it. I've got an account that is for random thoughts and I've had an account to give me a quick place to gather information I was sharing with others for an online collaborative project. The techinical hiccups of months past seem to be in the past now.

If you feel the need to let everyone know the exciting and inate details of your day this is for you. If not, then perhaps it not for you. Does what it does well. IM and Facebook/MySpace may offer more features but Twitter was designed to exactly what it does.
The worst idea ever conceived. Classic example of people being excited about other people being excited. Facebook status feeds are the same + the site offers much more than Twitter ever will.
